Memorial Day Parade- May 27, 2013

The annual Memorial Day Parade is sponsored by the Leslie American Legion Post. The parade features veterans, military vehicles, and local service groups, stopping for a brief Memorial Service at Tuttle Memorial Park. The parade also stops at Woodlawn Cemetery for a traditional Memorial Day ceremony. Tradition continues with the American Legion sponsoring a Chicken BBQ.

Lighted Christmas Parade

The annual lighted parade is on the second Saturday in December. The parade starts at ValuLand parking lot and makes its way down Bellevue to Main St.

The city Christmas Tree is lit at Tuttle Park, while the high school chorale sings holiday songs.
