Memorial Day Parade- May 31,2010

The annual Memorial Day Parade is sponsored by the Leslie American Legion Post. The parade features veterans, military vehicles, and local service groups, stopping for a brief Memorial Service at Tuttle Memorial Park. The parade also stops at Woodlawn Cemetery for a traditional Memorial Day ceremony. Tradition continues with the American Legion sponsoring a Chicken BBQ.

Leslie Christmas Parade

The Annual Lighted Christmas Parade is the second Saturday of December each year. From 5:00-7:00 p.m. the downtown merchants feature special sales and food. Carolers are also featured strolling through town, and the Leslie High School chorale performs. At 7:00p.m. a lighted parade goes through Leslie, floats and vehicles of all sizes, all featuring many colorful lights.
 

2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off

December 11, 2010 5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. held at the Leslie Events Center. This event is sponsored by the LAEF. While your waiting for the parade to start- stop in and cast your vote for your favorite chili.
