Brush pick-up when time allows. Stack branches nicely, small piles, cut ends facing one direction.. Nothing larger than 5”. Please DO NOT mix leaves with brush. They require two different machines and we will not sort the piles. No thorns or vines.
City residents are welcome to drop brush off at the DPW yard any time. The brush pile is at the far south end of the leaf compost pile.
During the Month’s of April and October. Monday and/or Tuesday or as time allows. Place leaves in the curb. Long, thin piles work best. DO NOT place any branches or other objects in the piles, they will clog the leaf vac.
Throughout the year, yard waste (grass clipping, leaves etc) may be brought to the DPW yard and deposited in our compost pile to the south of our building. There is a sign marking the area .
