Len Community Grant 2024 Cycle Now Open!

We are pleased to announce the 2024 Leslie Community Grant opportunity! The grant application will be available from now until March 15 at 5:00 p.m. Requests for up to $3,000 will be considered.

Len Charitable Fund to Benefit the Leslie Community

Legacy of Leonard and Marion Len: Former Leslie residents and philanthropists Leonard and Marion Len left a significant legacy of community support with this endowment fund.  Since 2012, this fund has granted more than $74,000 for local projects!  Grants typically range from $1,000 - $3,000.

Who is eligible to apply for a grant?  Organizations classified by the IRS as 501c3 nonprofits, churches, tax exempt schools or governmental entities, for initiatives or programs that specifically benefit the residents of the Leslie Community. 

What is the grant application deadline? The application will be available from Feb 2 – March 15, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. Applicants will be notified if they have received a grant no later than May 1.

How to Apply: All grant applications must be submitted through our new GOapply grant portal. You may print a blank application for your review, but only applications submitted through the portal will be considered.

Grantee Responsibilities:  Grant recipients will be required to sign a Grant Agreement before receiving the funds and will also be required to provide a report within one year indicating how the funds were utilized and the impact. Grant funds must be requested and utilized within one year, unless an extension is granted by the Foundation in special circumstances.
